The IIIT London Office was established in 1987 as a branch of the main
IIIT Head Office in the United States. An
intellectual cultural foundation the Institute aims to provide a comprehensive
Islamic outlook to relevant issues of contemporary thought.
The London
office oversees the production of English
Language titles as well as commissioning translations and promoting the objectives and work
of the Institute both in the UK and Europe.
As well as producing
publications in English the London Office has produced an
Occasional Paper Series as well as
audio and CD versions of a selection of the latter.
The London Office is also involved in the organisation of
conferences seminars and workshops and to date has
organised over ninety conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as
management skills training programmes throughout the UK and Europe.
